Roulette is among one of the most ancient and popular games in the casino world. With the developing times, it is offered on live platforms and in physical casinos. The highest number on roulette wheel differ according to the roulette wheel being used. The European roulette wheel numbers has 37 numbers whilst the American roulette wheel has 38 numbers. So the best roulette bet is betting on areas of the wheel. In fact it’s the only way to change the odds of winning at the table. But there’s a catch. If your roulette system was accurately predicting the winning number (or winning area of the wheel), you will have increased your odds of winning, and would be profiting. What is the Highest Number found on a Standard Roulette Wheel? There are two kinds of Roulette. The first is the traditional Roulette or the European Roulette, and the other is the American Roulette. There is a set of numbers painted on the sides of the diamond-like projections, among which the highest number is 36.

The low and high numbers bet in Roulette otherwise known as 1 to 18: or 13 to 36 is another outside bet. In this type of bet you can wager your chips that the winning number will either be a high number or a low number.
Just wondering, which casinos offer the highest bet on an inside number? Casinos around here might have a $2000 max bet listed, this only applies to the outside bets. If you want to bet a number, maxed out at $100. I dont know if it's still true, but Turning Stone used to be limit the inside bet to $25, while otherwise accepting a $5000 max bet outside. What's the highest bet inside allowed in Vegas? Do the high limit tables require a buy-in greater than the highest inside bet?Roulette Highest Number Of Protons

The most I know is $1000 straight-up on any number (pays 35-to-1). Many big casinos on the Las Vegas strip offer this. Hi rollers make what is called a $1000 'complete bet' (wagering a total of $40,000) that pays $392,000 if the main number hits.Complete bets are described here:

Often, at this level, players are given loss rebate incentives in excess of 10% and roulette is single-0.

Thank you for answering. I can see why the bets seem low when I didn't even think of different bets combined being a reason I didn't know of. The limits are lower than I'd guess, but higher than being completely over protective.I'll occasionally bet $25-50 and the dealers act like my dog died when I lose. Then those blue moons I win, they're so amazed. They act like it's a big deal either way, giving more attention than it warrants. Tipping is kind of difficult when all your chips are the same, tending to just use one to tip rather than get change.
I could use Wizard's craps strategy instead of roulette, but I like the simplicity of one bet won or done for small stakes. There is more pride lost letting it ride then losing in craps, plus I might chicken out part way through.

The maximum amount allowed to be wagered on a single bet in European roulette is based on a progressive betting model. If the casino allows a maximum bet of $1000 on a 35-to-1 straight-up, then on each 17-to-1 split connected to that straight-up, $2000 may be wagered. Each 8-to-1 corner that covers four numbers) may have $4000 wagered on it. Each 11-to-1 street that covers three numbers may have $3000 wagered on it. Each 5-to-1 six-line may have $6000 wagered on it. Each $1000 incremental bet would be represented by a marker that is used to specifically identify the player and the amount bet.
For instance, if a patron wished to place a full complete bet on 17, the player would call '17 to the maximum'. This bet would require a total of 40 chips or $40,000. To manually place the same wager, the player would need to bet:
17 to the maximum
Bet type
Number(s) bet on
Chips
Amount waged
Straight-up 17 1 $1,000
Split 14-17 2 $2,000
Split 16-17 2 $2,000
Split 17-18 2 $2,000
Split 17-20 2 $2,000
Street 16-17-18 3 $3,000
Corner 13-14-16-17 4 $4,000
Corner 14-15-17-18 4 $4,000
Corner 16-17-19-20 4 $4,000
Corner 17-18-20-21 4 $4,000
Six line 13-14-15-16-17-18 6 $6,000
Six line 16-17-18-19-20-21 6 $6,000
Total
40
$40,000
My understanding the same max applying to a single number also applied to corners and edges was wrong, so if the max on 17 was $100, $4000 could be bet around it(by a total maniac). Evenbob mentioned people in Vegas picking up losing bets and running out the door, but 40 chips would be too many. ?For instance, if a patron wished to place a full complete bet on 17, the player would call '17 to the maximum'. I don't play roulette, but I've never heard of this incremental thing. If table max inside is $1k, then that's it, you can only bet up to $1k per way. Maybe it's different for different properties, I don't know.

Roulette Maximums vary by casino.
Some casinos have a progressive max, and others have an anyway to the number max.
In many casinos you can negotiate higher limits.
For example at Caesars once they get to know you, and you put up a reasonable amount of front money, they will raise the max bet to 3k straight up.
MGM will often raise to 2k straight up.

Casino Games Online › Roulette Games › Roulette › Roulette Record Series
How many times in a row has a little ball landed in the same pocket of a Roulette wheel, i.e. how many times has a single number occurred in a row? And how about the same color? What is the probability of these events and a potential impact on a play?
Record Occurrence of a Single Number in Roulette
The probability that any single number occurs is 1/37 in French Roulette and 1/38 in American Roulette (there are 36 numbers + zero + double zero in American Roulette). There is no doubt that it is a great coincidence when the same number comes up again and again.
The longest reliable series was registered at the hotel El San Chuan in Puerto Rico on 9 June 1959. During the course of the American Roulette, number ten occurred even six times in a row! The probability of such (successive) events is determined by a multiplication of individual events. Therefore the probability that the same number comes up six times in a row is:
Highest Number Roulette Wheel
(1/38) ˟ (1/38) ˟ (1/38) ˟ (1/38) ˟ (1/38) ˟ (1/38)
, that is:(1/38)6 = 0.000000000332122593261671
.That is a very small number indeed, roughly three billionths only. If we convert this probability into true odds that would have to be offered to us by a casino, we get the value
3,010,936,384 to one
. Bet online review. The true (fair) odds are calculated as a reciprocal of the probability, that is 1 ÷ probability. If such a bet on a series of outcomes was possible in Roulette, we would win $3 billion for a $1 bet(!)It is important to add that the above-mentioned calculation of probability deals with a multiple (successive) events, i.e. we can ask this question: What is the probability that the same number in Roulette comes up 6 times in a row?
Since it would be a different case if e.g. number 10 occurred and after that before the new spin we asked what was the probability that number ten came up again? In this case the answer would be 1/38 (in terms of American Roulette), because any number could occur with the same probability 1/38 in every new spin. That is what we call a simple event in contrast with a multiple event(s) whereas the probabilities of individual events are multiplied (→ Articles on Probability).
The true odds for a 1 to 10fold repetition of the same number are shown in the table below. It is the same mechanism as if a sporting bet company or a casino offered the odds for a victory of some home team in some football match (→ The Odds Determination and Calculation).
The Same Number Comes Up in a Row | True Odds to One in FRENCH Roulette | True Odds to One in AMERICAN Roulette |
---|---|---|
37 | 38 | |
2˟ | 1,369 | 1,444 |
50,653 | 54,872 | |
4˟ | 1,874,161 | 2,085,136 |
69,343,957 | 79,235,168 | |
6˟ | 2,565,726,409 | 3,010,936,384 |
94,931,877,133 | 114,415,582,592 | |
8˟ | 3,512,479,453,921 | 4,347,792,138,496 |
129,961,739,795,077 | 165,216,101,262,848 | |
10˟ | 4,808,584,372,417,850 | 6,278,211,847,988,230 |
The odds are reciprocal values of the probabilities – the higher they are, the lower the probabilities are. The case of the above-mentioned record series is marked green. Consider also the difference that is made by one extra number in American Roulette (the double zero).
Record Repetition of the Same Color in Roulette
There are no exceptions that the same color appeared more than 20 times in a row in practice. The record was registered in 1943, when red color came up 32 times in a row! The probability of such event in French Roulette is
(18/37)32 = 0.000000000096886885
with the corresponding odds 10,321,314,387:1
.The probability of the 32fold repetition of the same color in American Roulette is much more lower:
(18/38)32 = 0.00000000004127100756
and the odds are 24,230,084,485:1
. Thus this is even less likely than occurrence of a single number six times in a row. Again it is clearly demonstrated what kind of importance (a negative one for players) has just one extra number in American Roulette. Now imagine that you used the Martingale betting strategy (→ see the first test of the Martingale system), whereas the next bet is doubled if your bet loses..
